在晋州城矗石楼面前悬崖峭壁之下, 一块岩石耸立在南江水上, 在壬辰倭乱发生之前叫做“危岩”, 顾名思义此岩很危险。自从壬辰倭乱时义妓论介抱着倭将投江自尽之后, 为了颂扬义妓论介的忠贞和气概, 改称为“义岩”。

其上方的平台长约3.65米, 宽约3.3米，高高耸立在南江之上。
