晋州市七岩洞の南江沿いに位置した慶尚南道文化芸術会館は、1984年に着工し1988年8月29日に開館した。敷地面積17,711㎡、建築面積6096㎡、延面積12354㎡(地下1階、地上4階)の韓・洋融合式の他目的建築物となっており、1,564席規模の大会場、ギャラリー1，ギャラリー2及び付帯施設など豊富な文化空間が整っている。南江の美しい景観が一望できるナムガラム文化通りに位置している。
