慶南西部唯一の人工湖である晋陽湖は、鏡湖江と徳川江が合流地点に位置する。

智異山が一望できる見晴らしの良い眺めと湖畔の朝霧、うっとりするほど美しい夕焼けが観光客を魅了している。晋陽湖には公園、休憩展望台、願いの階段、ヤンマ山ヒノキ林、動物園、南江ダム水文化館、一周道路などの多彩な見どころがある。
